Famous Lithuanian influencer Ignas Lelys tries a new way to earn money – can you really make hundreds of euros extra each month?
Stores aren't just a place to save money, they can also help you to earn it. Influencer and video blogger Ignas Lelys discovered this firsthand when he tried a new side gig. By completing simple tasks in "IKI" stores with the "Tasku" app developed by the startup Traxlo, Lelys found that it's possible to earn between a few hundred and up to €1,400 per month.

Over 500 people across 20 cities and towns in Lithuania have already tried completing various small tasks in "IKI" stores using "Tasku." Lelys joined them to see what this growing gig economy is all about, offering the convenience of earning money close to home and on your own schedule.
"It's all very easy: you open the app, pass a few tests, choose tasks, and get paid when you complete them. What's better than that? You can decide which tasks to do, and you can pick them based on location, estimated time, and pay. It sounds simple, and it really is," said the blogger.

One of the app's most convenient features is knowing the exact pay for each task upfront. The payment typically ranges from €3 to €50 per task, and in larger cities, multiple tasks can sometimes be available in a single store in a day. This means you could earn up to €100 a day by completing several tasks.
Convenient for Both "Taskers" and "Iki"
Through the "Tasku" app, you can take on a variety of tasks at "IKI" stores, such as inventory controls, shelf execution tasks, and gap walks identification. These tasks are straightforward and don’t require prior skills or equipment, allowing "taskers" to learn everything they need through the app.
Nijolė Kvietkauskaitė, General Director of "IKI Lietuva," says that this solution from a Lithuanian startup provides people with additional income opportunities while helping "IKI" tackle current workforce challenges more effectively.

"We have a constant drive for innovation, which is why we've established successful partnerships with several startups. This collaboration helps them grow and flourish, while it strengthens our position as an innovation leader in retail. We're delighted to work with Traxlo, who have brought a modern approach to work and earning opportunities. The fact that hundreds of people across Lithuania are already trying out paid tasks in stores proves that “IKI” is not only about “IKI stores” but also about “IKI job opportunities," says Kvietkauskaitė.
Work at your own pace, get paid for each task
The Lithuanian company Traxlo, creator of the "Tasku.app" short-term gig platform, emphasises that task payments are made per task, not by the hour or shift. This approach allows people to work at their own pace and preferred intensity, according to Traxlo's CEO, Paul Vėželis.
"People appreciate the freedom to choose tasks based on their personal schedule. Some find it easier to complete tasks in the morning while kids are at school, others in the evening, for example, after classes or other jobs. You can work more one week, less the next, and even try different stores. There are no additional commitments, which is very appealing to the modern worker," says Paul.

In the app, not only is the payment listed, but also the average time it takes to complete each task. For instance, a simple job might take around 10 minutes, while more complex tasks could last up to 5 hours. Currently, around 5,000 tasks are completed each week on the Tasku platform. With 93 "IKI" stores to choose from, the number of available tasks and income opportunities is steadily growing every week.
